A mixture has two chemical in a liquid form. They are called chemical P and chemical Q , respectively. A particular mixture contains 12 part of chemical P and 8 parts of chemical Q . What is the percentage of P and Q in this mixture?​

percentage of P = 12/(12+8)*100%

= 12/20*100%

= 60%

percentage of Q = 8/(12+8)*100% (or 100%-60%)

= 8/20*100%

= 40%
