A mixture is obtained by mixing 15 kg of wheat flour with 5 kg of oats bran. Find the percentage
of oats bran in the mixture.​

★ Solution :

Total amount of mixture = Amount of Wheat flour + Amount of oats bran.

Total amount of mixture = ( 15 + 5 ) Kg = 20Kg

Percentage of mixture :-

Given value / Total value × 100

( Amount of oats bran / Total amount of mixture × 100 )

= 5 / 20 × 100

= 1 / 4 × 100

= 25%

Hence, the percentage of oats bran in the mixture is 25%
