A mixture of 20% iron,38% sand and remaining of mixture is glass.If quantity of glass is 168 gm in mixture,then find the whole quantity of mixture?

Given :

Percentage of iron = 20 %

Percentage of sand = 38 %

Quantity of glass = 168 gm



Finding Percentage of glass -

Percentage of iron + Percentage of sand

20 + 38

= 58 % .

100 - 58 % = 42 % .

So, Percentage of Glass = 42 %

Quantity of glass = 168 gm

Percentage of Glass = 42 %

42 % = 168 gm

100 % = ? gm

100 \times \dfrac{168}{42}
