30 liters is an appropriate answer.

Given:

  • The combination of wine and water = 70 liters.
  • Initial water concentration = 10%.
  • Calculations:
  • Amount of water in 70 liter of combination = 10% of 70 = 7 liters.
  • Let x liters of water is added to the combination.
  • According to question, 7 + x = 37/100 x (70 + x)
  • 100(7 + x) = 37 (70 + x)
  • ⇒ -x = 189/63 = 30

Therefore, x = 30 liters.
