let the quality of milk be = x litre
cost of 1 litre milk is = rupees 1.08
=108paise
(x+16) ×90=x×108+16×0( cost of water is 0)
90x+16×90=108x
18x=16×90/18=80
quantity of milk=80litres

Answer:

80 Liters

Explanation:

Let the quantity of milk be x litre. cost of 1 litre \mathrm{milk}=\mathrm{Rs} .1 .08=108 \mathrm{P}

Then, we have (x+16) \times 90=x \times 108+16 \times 0(\cos t \text { of water is } 0)

\Rightarrow 90 x+16 \times 90=108 x

\Rightarrow 18 x=16 \times 90

\Rightarrow x=\frac{16 \times 90}{18}=80

Thus, the quantity of milk is 80 \mathrm{L}
