A mixture of liquids contains alcohol and water in the ratio 3:2 .if 6 liters water is added to the mixture , tje ratio become 3:4. what is the quantity of the alxohol in the mixture

Let the quantity of alcohol and water be 3x litre and 2x litres respectively     
3x/(2x+6)=3/4
12x-6x=18
6x=18
x=18/6
x=3
quantity of the alcohol in the mixture
=3×3=9
