A mixture of O2 ,H2 and water vapours has a total pressure of 684mm of Hg. The partial pressure of O2 is 380mm & H2 is 0.1 atm. What is the partial pressure of water vapours?
A. 304mm
B. 228mm

1 atm = 760 mmHg

then 0.1 atm = 76 mmHg

then the Partial pressure of Water vapours = Pw

Ptotal = PO2 +Pw +Ph2

Pw = Ptotal -(PO2+Ph2)

Pw = 684-(380+76) = 684-456

Pw = 228 mmHg

Correct answer is option B.
