a mixture of sand and salt are in the ratio 3:2 a bag contains 50 kg of mixture find the quantity of sand and salt in the mixture

Let sand be 3x and salt be 2x

ATQ (according to the question)

3x + 2x = 50kg

5x = 50

x= 10kg

therefore quantity of sand = 3x =30 kg

and quantity of salt = 2x = 20 kg
