Answer:
" The cost price of each mobile is Rs. 69000 "
Solution:
Let, the cost price for each mobile be Rs. X
Step 1.
For the first mobile, the store gets a profit of 10%.
Then the profit is
= Rs. (X * 10/100)
= Rs. X/10
Step 2.
For the second mobile, the store gets a loss 5%
Then the loss is
= Rs. (X * 5/100)
= Rs. X/20
Step 3.
Therefore, total profit on two mobiles
= Rs. (X/10 - X/20)
= Rs. (2X/20 - X/20)
= Rs. X/20
ATQ,
X/20 = 3450
or, X = 20 * 3450
or, X = 69000
Therefore, the cost price of each mobile is Rs. 69000 .
