A model to demonstrate distance and displacement between two points. Learning Objectives: What should students know and be able to do as a result of this model? Materials required:- Procedure:  Take the cardboard base and cover it with a sheet of paper.  Make 2 points (can be two buildings/ two hills/ one building and one hill) using matchbox or paper cones and fix it with glue on the base.  Mark the distance and displacement between initial and final point with different colours.  Measure the distance and displacement and write it on the base. Guidelines: (1) Students will fill up the given format in MS Word file. (2) They will click a photograph of the activity performed. (3) They should paste the soft copy of the photograph in the same Word file and mail the file to the respective Physics teacher at their email id. OR (1) Students can write the same format on a paper and take a photograph. (2) They will click a photograph of the activity performed. (3) They should mail these two photographs to their respective Physics teacher at their email id. Reference picture  Explain the meaning of motion.  Describe an object's position relative to reference point.  Evaluate that all motion is relative to whatever frame of reference is chosen.  Distinguish between distance and displacement.  Identify appropriate SI units for measuring distance, position, and displacement  A base (old shoebox/ notebook/ lace file hardcover/a piece of cardboard can be used)  Sheet of paper.  Colours (any media).  Match boxes (building)/ handmade paper cones (hills).  Glue (You can also use homemade glue using flour and water) Please say me the conclusion and procedure for this question

Answer:

Explanation:An object is placed 20 cm in front of a plane mirror then the image is formed at 20 cm behind the mirror. If the mirror is moved 2 cm toward the object. Hence, The total distance between the positions of the original and final image is 4 cm.
