No the statement is false
Velocity is a vector quantity. It means it depends both on magnitude and direction. Even though the magnitude (speed) remains same the velocity won't because it is moving in a circular motion wherethe direction keeps on changing.
As the direction is changing velocity doesn't remain same but changes.
Hence the statement is false
