Answer:

= 20√3

Step-by-step explanation:

sin= opp. side/Hypo.

sin30°= 20/AC

1/2= 20/AC

1/2X5=AC

AC=40

AB=20(given)

AC=40

BC=?

by applying Pythagoras theorem

AC^2= AB^2+BC^2

(40)^2=(20)^2+BC^2

BC^2= (40)^2-(20)^2

BC^2=1600-400

BC^2=1200

BC=√1200

BC=20√3

The distance between foot of the tree and the stone is 20√3
