The monkey is 29 meters above the Ground.

In the question a Monkey is sitting on A Branch.

Height of the Branch From the Ground = 15 meters

From here,

If the monkey Swings down or Climbs down, the height will be reduced From initial value.

or

If the monkey Swings up or Climbs up, the height will be increased From initial value.

According to the Question,

  • The monkey swings up to 8 meters
  • Climbs up to 6 meters more

Then, there's an addition to the Vertical Height of the Monkey's Distance from the Ground Level.

So,

Height of Monkey After Swinging up from The Branch

= 15 meters + 8 meters

= 23 meters

then

Height of Monkey After Climbing up further

= 23 meters + 6 meters

= 29 meters

Therefore,

The final height of the monkey from the Ground is 29 meters
