hey
here's ur answer!

let P1 be x
and let V1 be y
new volume (V2) = 1/8 * V1
= 1/8 * y
= y/8
P2 = ?

##NOW,
ACCORDING TO BOYLE'S LAW,
P1/V1 = P2/V2
=> x/y = P2/ (y/8)
=> x/y = 8 P2/y
=> x = 8P2
=> P1 = 8P2
=> P1/8 = P2 [answer]

hope it helps!

Answer:

32P1

Explanation:

In this,the system is adiabatic.

So, PV^Y is used.

For monoatomic,Y =5/3
