The wavelength of the light in the medium will be 400 nm.

Explanation :

Given, wavelength of the light in vacuum, λ = 600 nm

refractive index of the medium, μ = 1.5

let λ₁ will be it's wavelength in the medium

we know that,

refractive index = (wavelength in vacuum)/wavelength in medium

=> μ = λ/λ₁

=> λ₁ = λ/μ

= 600/1.5

= 400 nm

Hence the wavelength of the light in the medium will be 400 nm.
