A mosquito flies 10 m towards north, 10 m towards east and finally 10 m upwards. What's the distance and displacement?

The distance = 10m +10m + 10m
                     = 30m
The displacement = 0, because after travelling for 30 m ,the mosquito came back to the starting point.
