To Find:-

  • Find the acceleration of the car and the distance covered by the car.

Given:-

  • A car has an initial velocity of 22 km/h and it attains a velocity of 94km/h in 1/12 hour.

Solution:-

v = u + at

Substituting Values:-

\tt\implies \: 94 = 22 + \dfrac { a } { 12 }

\tt\implies \: a = 94 - 22 = \dfrac { a } { 12 }

\tt\implies \: \dfrac { a } { 12 } = 72

\tt\implies \: a = 72 \times 12

\tt\implies \: a = 864 \: m/ { s }^{ 2 }

Now

\tt\implies \: s = ut + \dfrac { 1 } { 2 } \times a \times { t }^{ 2 }

\tt\implies \: s = 22 \times \dfrac { 1 } { 12 } + \dfrac { 1 } { 2 } \times 864 \times \dfrac { 1 } { 12 } \times \dfrac { 1 } { 12 }

\tt\implies \: s = 8.43 km
