let the mother s contribution be x
so elder son= 3/8 of x = 3x/8
younger son= 1/2 of x = x/2
 
3x/8+x/2+x = 60000

lcm = 8

3x+4x+8x= 60000 x 8

x= 32000(mom share)
elder son = 3/8 of 32000=12000
younger son= 1/2 of 32000 = 16000
