Answer: If father is Homozygous for B blood group and female is heterozygous then blood group of their offspring will be B and AB blood group.

If mother is Homozygous for A blood group and Male is heterozygous then blood group of their offspring will be A and AB blood group.

If Both parents are Homozygous then blood group of their offspring will be:- AB

If Both parents are heterozygous then blood group of their offspring will be :- A, B, AB,

Child will have blood group A or AB.

  1. Since the mother is homozygous for blood type A, her alleles will be iA and iA.
  2. Father has blood type AB, so his alleles will be iA and iB.
  3. Now, the probability of blood type of child will be iAiA, iAiB, iAiA and iAiB.
  4. Hence, as per the alleles, the probability of blood type of child will be 50% for A and 50% for AB.
