A mother's age is 11 times the age of her daughter now. Eight years later,the daughter will be 11/3 of her mother's age. What are their present ages?

let the age of mother = x
age of daughter =y
acc. to ques.
x=11y. first equation
acc to ques
(x+8)=11/3 (y+8)
x+8=11y+88/3
(x+8)3=11y+88
3x+24=11y+88
3x-11y=88-24
