hi bro!
# your solution here:
Let the daughter age be X
then her mother age be x^2
now
after 5 years
x^2 +5 = X+5
then five years later mother age Will be 3 times as old her daughter
so
x^2 +5 = 3( X+5)
x^2 +5 = 3x +15
x^2 -3x +5 -15 =0
x^2 -3x -10=0
now factorise
x^2 -5x +2x -10 =0
X(X -5) +2 (x-5) =0
(x-5) (X+2) =0
X = 5,-2
X can not be negative
so
X = 5
daughter age be 5 years
&
her mother age be =5^2 = 25 years
