Answer :-

Given :-

  • Mass of car = 200 kg
  • Velocity = 40 m/s

To Find :-

  • Kinetic energy

Solution :-

We know that,

→ Kinetic energy = ½ mv²

where

  • m is mass
  • v is velocity

Here, we are given mass and velocity of car. So, by simply subtituting the value in formula, we can find kinetic energy ;-

→ K.E. = ½ mv²

→ K.E. = ½ × 200 × 40 × 40

→ K.E. = 100 × 40 × 40

→ K.E. = 1600 × 100

→ K.E. = 160000

Kinetic energy of car = 160000 J
