Answer:

90km = 9000m

2hrs 15mins= 135min = 8100

I changed it to one unit as speed of an object is usually at metre per second.

Speed = distance/time

So,

speed= 9000/8100

          = 1.1 m/s(approximate)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

DISTANCE COVERED = 90 KM

TIME = 2 HOURS 15 MIN

60 MIN = 1 HOUR

15 MIN = X HOURS

X = 15/60

X = 5/20

X = 1/4 HOURS.

SPEED = DISTANCE / TIME

SPEED = 90/(1/4+2)

            = 90/(9/4)

            = 90*4/9

            = 40 KM/H.

THEREFORE THE SPEED OF THE MOTOR BIKE IS 40 KM/H.

HOPE THIS HELPS.
