A motor bike travels 210 km on 30 litres of petrol. How far would it travel on 7 litres of petrol.

Distance travelled on 30 litres = 210 km

distance travelled on 1 litre = 210÷30

= 7 km

∴ distance travelled on 7 litres = 7km × 7 litres =49litred
