a ( acceleration ) = 3 m/s^2
t ( time ) = 8 s
s = ut + 1 /2 ( at^2 )
= (0)(8) + 1 / 2 (3)(8)^2
= 0 + 1 / 2 × 3 × 8 × 8
= 3 × 4 × 8 = 96 m

We know that s = ut + 1/2at²
According to question, u = 0 [As it was in rest]; a = 3ms⁻² ; t = 8s
s = 0 x 8 + 1/2 x 3 x 8 x 8
s = 3 x 4 x 8
s = 96m
