Explanation:

Final velocity(v)= 25m/s

Initial velocity(u)= 5m/s

time(t)= 4s

acceleration(a)=?

we know that a= v-u/t

putting the values we get, a=25-5/5

=20/5

=4m/s^2

mass(m)= 1000Kg

acceleration (a)= 4m/s^2

force(f)=?

we know that f= m×a

putting the values we get, f=1000×4

=4000 Newton

Given :-

☄ Mass of the motor car, m = 1000 kg

☄ Initial velocity of the car, u = 5 m/s

☄ Final velocity of the car, v = 25 m/s

☄ Time taken, t = 4s

To find :-

Force applied by the motor car

Solution :-

using equation of motion .i.e.,

v = u + at

here,

v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, a = acceleration and t = time

so,

➠ 25 = 5 + (a)(4)

➠ 25 − 5 = 4a

➠ 20 = 4a

➠ a = 20/4

➠ a = 5m/s²

now, using Newton's law of motion .i.e.,

F = ma

here,

F = force applied, m = mass of the motor car and a = acceleration

so,

➠ F = (1000)(5)

➠ F = 5000N

thus, the force applied on the motor car is 5000N
