A motor car slows down from 70 kmh-1 to 36 kmh-1 over a distance of 25m. If the brakes are applied with the same force. calculate total time in which car comes at rest and distance travelled by it?

SPEED = DISTANCE /TIME
TIME= SPEED x distance
AVERAGE SPEED = 70- 36 = 34 KM/ h
DISTANCE IN KM -
= 1KM = 1000 m
25m = 25/1000 km
= .025km

NOW
TIME = speed x time
time = 34x0.025
= 0.85 m
