Apply the concept of Greenhouse effect
---------------------------------------------------------------

The glass traps or absorbs Sun rays . But the glass doesn't allow the Sun heat to escape. This is why the inside temperature of the car rises very high.

IT IS BECAUSE OF GREENHOUSE EFFECT.
-----------------------------------------------
The reason for the same is that the glass doesn't allow the heat trapped to escape to the surrounding hence making the temperature very high inside.
