total distance = 1000 m = 1 km

v = u + at

v = 0 + 10x2

v = 20 m/s

t = 20 s

s = v t

s =   20x20

s  = 400 m

Distance in the next 30 s as velocity is constant so

s = v t

s = 20x30

s = 600 m

total distance = 1000 m = 1 km
