Time, t = 1 hr
rate of energy = ₹1/kWh
Current, I = ?
monthly bill = ?
Now,
P = VI
⇒ 25000 = 250 × I
⇒ I = 25000 ÷ 250
⇒ I = 100 A
Energy consumed in 1 day = P×t = 25 kW × 1hr
= 25 kWh
Energy consumed in 1 month = 30 × 25 kWh
= 750 kWh
Energy bill = ₹1/kWh × 750 kWh = ₹750
