Given :-

➜ Initial velocity, u = 18 km/h or 5 m/s

➜ Acceleration throughout the time, a = 5 m/

➜ Time taken, t = 5 s

To Find :-

➜ Final velocity of motorbike

➜ Distance travelled in this time

Solution :-

We know,

v = u + at

Substituting values,

v = 5 + 5×5

⇒ v = 5 + 25

⇒ v = 30 m/s

So, we found final velocity to be 30 m/s

Also,

2as = -

Substituting values,

⇒ 2×5×s = 30² - 5²

⇒ 10s = 900 - 25

⇒ 10s = 875

s = 87.5 m

Hence, The final velocity of the motorbike is 30 m/s while distance travelled by the motorbike is 87.5 m.
