Answer:

KE = 160 Kilojoule

Explanation:

Given,

A motorbike of mass 200 kg is moving with a velocity of 40 m/s.

To find,

 Its kinetic energy ?

Calculation:

  •    Kinetic energy is a sub-type of mechanical energy possessed by an object by the virtue of its motion.
  •    Let  mass be m, velocity be v.

             i.e., KE = 1/2(mv^{2})

⇒ KE = 1/2 ×(200)×40^{2}

⇒KE = 1/2 × 200 × 1600

⇒ KE = 160000 joule

⇒KE = 160 kilojoule

so, Kinetic energy of motorbike is 160 kJ
