Solution:-
It's given that,
Acceleration=3m/s^2
Time =8 seconds
Initial velocity=0
Distance travelled=?

We will find the distance by using equation,that is:-
 =  > s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}  \\  =  > s = 0 \times 8 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times  {8}^{2}  \\  =  > s = 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times 64
 =  > s = 0 + 3  \times 32 \\  =  > s = 96
Hence,
Distance travelled=96m

Given, acceleration a = 3m/s^2 and time t = 8sec


since, motarboat is start from rest 

So, its initial velocity u = 0


Let, distance travveled by motarboat be s


Therefore, according to formula 

s = ut+1/2at^2
=> s = 0*8+1/2*3*8*8
=> s = 96 meter 


Hence, distance travelled by motar boat is 96m
