Downstream speed will be (15+x)km/hr and upstream speed will be (15-x)km/hr.
Given that it covers the distance in 4 1/2 hr.
30/(15 + x) + 30/(15 - x) = 4 1/2
900/225 - x^2 = 4.5
200/225 - x^2 = 1
x = 25
x = 5 km/hr.
The speed of the stream = 5km/hr.
