❒Given:

Mass of MotorCar = 1500 kg

Initial Velocity (u) = 108 km/h

Final Velocity (v) = 54 km/h

As, Velocity is Given in Km/h and we Need it in m/sec to Put in the Formula of Momentum.

So, 108km/h ⇉108×1000/3600 = 30m/sec

& 54km/h ⇉54×1000/3600 = 15m/sec

Then Formula of Momentum =

✪ ∆P = Mu - Mv

✪ ∆P = M(u-v)

✪∆P = 1500(30-15)

✪∆P = 1500 × 15

∆P = 22,500 kgm/sec

Hence the total Change in Momentum will be 22,500 kgm/Sec!
