Correct question:

A motorcycle is at rest, then after 20sec velocity is 72km/hr motion is uniform. Find the acceleration of the motorcycle .

Given :

Initial velocity of motorcycle,u ( at rest ) = 0

final velocity of motorcycle, v = 72km/hr = 20 m/s

And t = 20 sec

To find :

Acceleration of the motorcycle

{\blue{\boxed{\large{\bold{Formula's}}}}}

Kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated motion.

\bf\:v=u+at \bf\:s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\bf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2as

and

\bf\:s_{nth}=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)

Solution :

We have to find the acceleration of the motorcycle.

By using the equation of motion

\sf\:v=u+at

Now put the given values

\sf\:20=0+a\times20

\sf\:a=\dfrac{20}{20}

\sf\:a=1ms^{-2}

Hence, Acceleration of the motorcycle is 1m/s²

- - -

More Information:

Acceleration is the change of velocity

So if velocity is 0

It means there is no acceleration
