Answer:

Speed of Motorcycle is (360/20) m/s = 18 m/s

Speed of Car is 72 Km/Hr, convert this into m/s.

72 (1000 m/ 3600 sec) = 20 m/s.

So relative speed of car with respect to motorcycle is difference in speed of car and speed of motorcycle.

Relative speed Car of w.r.t Motocycle = Speed of Car - Speed of Motorcycle

= (20 - 18) m/s = 2 m/s

Distance between motocycle and car = 1500

Time taken to catch up with motorcycle = Distance/Speed

= 1500/2 = 750 seconds = 12.5 minutes
