A motorcycle is running at a speed of 162 km/hr.
What is the distance it will cover in 30 sec?

Answer:

Speed = Distance / time

Speed = 162 km/hr. and. time = 3 sec

both speed and distance. is. not in same unit so first we have to convert them into same unit

so , 162 hm/ hr is converted into m/ sec

so , 162 is multiplied by 5/18. [ because 1 km = 1000 m and 1hr = { (60× 60 ) =3600 sec} SO, 1000/ 3600= after solving this we get 5/18]

speed = 162×5/18 = 45meter / sec

Distance(D) = speed × time

D = 45 × 30 = 135 meter. ans.
