Average velocity= mean of 2 velocities
=(30+20)/2
=25km/he

steveaustin778: it is wrong, the motorcyclist resturn to point a so, its displcement=0,and av = 0/t=0

If the motorcyclist return to again to point where he started, so its displcement =0,
Hence, Avarage velocity =displacement /time
=0/1h=0 answer
