so, time taken from A to B is
t1 = (d/40)h
now, from B to A speed is 20km
so, time taken from B to A is
t2 = (d/20)h
now, average speed
= total distance / total time
= 2d / t1+t2
= (2d)/(d/20+d/40)
= 2d/(3d/40)
= 80/3 = 26.66 m/s
