Therefore, total distance covered- 2x km
Time taken to cover A to B-
30 km-1 hour
x km- x/30 hour
Time taken to cover B to A-
20 km-1 1 hour
x km- x/20 hour
Therefore, total time- x/30+x/20
- x/12 hour
Average Speed-Total Distance/Total time
- 2x/x/12
- 2x multiplied by 12/x
- 24 km/ hour
