Let distance = x

Total Distance = x + x = 2x

Time = x / 20 + x/ 30 = 5x / 60

Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time

2x / (5x /60) = 2x * 60 / 5x = 25 km

let the distance from a to b is d then total distance travelled is 2d and total time taken is d/30+ d/20 & here is the ans 24km/hr
