motorcyclist drives with speed fromm a to b =20 km /hr

average speed =total distance /total time
=20+30/1+1
= 50/2
=25

25km/hr is your average speed

let distance be 60 km
time= distance/speed
=60/30=2hrs
in second case
60/20=3hrs
average speed=total distance/total time
=120/5
=24km/hr
