We know that a = (v-u)/t where a is acceleration, v is the final velocity, u is the initial velocity and t is time.

v = 6m/s

u = 0m/s (as the body starts from rest)

t = 3s

a = ?

Substituting for the equation I already typed above, we have a = (6-0)/3 = 6/3 = 2

Therefore, the acceleration is 2m/s2

Answer:

acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity / time

= 6 m/s - 0 / 3 seconds

= 2m/s^2

hope it helps you
