Answer:

a=2 m/s²

Explanation:

Initial velocity= Om/s

Final velocity=6m/s

Time=3 sec

Use the equation:

v=u+at

a=6−0/3

a=2 m/s²

Given :-

A motorcyclist starts from the rest and reaches at speed of 6m/s after traveling with uniform acceleration for 3 seconds.

To Find :-

Acceleration

Distance covered

Solution :-

We know that

a = v - u/t

Where

a = acceleration

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

t = time

a = 6 - 0/3

a = 6/3

a = 2 m/s²

Now

v² - u² = 2as

WWhere

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

s = distance covered

(6)² - (0)² = 2(2)(s)

36 - 0 = 4s

36/4 = s

9 = s

Hence

Distance travelled is 9m
