speed is 30km/hr.
distance is 375km

actual time without any stop will be

time =distance by speed

= 375/30
=12½hr.

but stops after every 75kms.

so no. of times he will stop. 375/75
= 5 Times.

and each stop is ½hr .

so 5 stops will be 2½hrs.

so total time taken
is.

2½+12½

5/2 + 25/2

= 30/2

=> 15 hrs(Ans)

joy28: answer is 14 1/4

speed =30 km per hour
time taken to cover 375 km =12 hrs 30 mins(12hrs for 360 km and 30 min for 15 kms)
time he stopped = 2hrs (75km , 150 km, 225km,300km = 4 times )
30 min *4 =120 min =2 hrs
total time taken to complete the journey = 12hrs 30 min +2 hrs = 14 hrs 30 mins
