A motorist travelled 1/2 of his journey at 60 km/h and completed the remaining 90 km in .what was his average speed for the whole journey

If 1/2 journey travelled by motorist =60 km/hr

Remaining journey = 90 km

Therefore, the remaining journey = 60km +30km

Total distance travelled= 150km

Total time taken= 60km/hr +60km/hr +30km/0.5hr

Average speed= 150km/2.5hrs

=60km/hr
