Its base is at an elevation of 5450 m.
The temperature at the base is
-6°C. the temperature here drops
at the rate of 1° per 100 metres
Find the temperature at the top.

Answer:

Speed = Distance/Time, in this case the train is 300m but let's not consider the trains length for this equation because it is replaced by the bridge's distance. Therefore,

Distance = 200m.

Time = X and Speed =25 m/s

When changing the equation to Distance/Speed= Time

200/25= 8s

The time taken is 8 seconds.

Hope this helped

☆ Answer ☆

 \sf  \red - \red4 \red0 \red°

☆ Solution ☆

\rightarrow Over all height of mountain from base

= 8850-5450

= 3400 m

\rightarrow Temmperature drops at 100 metre= 1°C

Then total drop = 3400/100

= 34° C

temperature at the top = -6° C - 34° C

= -40° C
