Answer:

-40° C

Step-by-step explanation:

over all height of mountain from base

=8850-5450

=3400 m

temperature drops at 100 metre= 1 ° C

then total drop = 3400/100

= 34° C

temperature at the top = -6° C - 34° C

= -40° C

Solution

\rightarrow Over all height of mountain from base

= 8850-5450

= 3400 m

\rightarrow Temmperature drops at 100 metre= 1°C

Then total drop = 3400/100

= 34° C

temperature at the top = -6° C - 34° C

= -40° C
