The difference of the top of the mountain and the base. 8850-5450=3400.

The temperature drops 1 degrees Celsius per 100 meter. So, we divide it with the difference i.e 3400/100 =34. Then, the value gets - 34 degrees Celsius because it is gets dropped. - 34+-6=-40degree celsius

The answer is - 40degree celsius
